Carriageworks is a short walk from Redfern (approx 5 minute walk), Macdonaldtown (approx 10 minute walk) or Newtown (approx 15 minute walk) train stations.

BUS

The nearest bus stop is on the corner of Codrington St and City Rd, which is a five minute walk from Carriageworks. Bus routes are 422, 423, 426, 428, 370, 352.

BIKE

There are bike lanes on surrounding streets and plenty of free bike racks on site.

TAXI / DROP OFF

Vehicle entry is at 229 Wilson St (opposite Queen St).

PARKING

Carriageworks is located near to Sydney University, the Seymour Centre, and Australian Technology Park. Casual parking is available at these sites for a fee.

Entry and Parking

Carriageworks is wheelchair accessible. The ramp leading to the main entrance is accessed onstreet level via Wilson St. The closest train station with no steps orwheelchair access is Newtown Station, a 20 minute stroll to Carriageworks. Taxiscan enter at 229 Wilson St (opposite Queen St) for level access entry.

Inside the venue

For patrons with mobility restrictions or wheelchairs, level access andaccessible seating is available in all theatres. There are wheelchairaccessible toilets on site.
