Camille O’Sullivan
Where Are We Now? | Ireland
Australian Premiere

Irish-French singer and storyteller-in-song Camille O’Sullivan tours the world, interpreting with her powerful voice and charisma the dark and bittersweet narrative songs of artists including Tom Waits, David Bowie, Radiohead and Kurt Weill, among others.

In this show, O’Sullivan and band ask Where Are We Now? in a world that seems suddenly off-kilter, taking a personal journey into the music of her much loved late heroes David Bowie and Leonard Cohen. It’s a love letter to those two artists, as well as songs by Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Jacques Brel and more.

A Helpmann-award-winning singer and actor, the ‘Queen of the Edinburgh Fringe’ (BBC) O’Sullivan has toured the world performing at venues including the Sydney Opera House and London’s O2 Arena. She was lauded by the Daily Telegraph as one of Jools Holland’s “Top 25 Performances Ever”.

In Where Are We Now? O’Sullivan reflects on our turbulent times, and also celebrates the joy and madness of the age.

“She treats every song as an intense emotional journey…hypnotic… such an outpouring of passion you can't resist being drawn into her web” – The Independent

A great show is best accompanied with a fantastic feast. Combine your show ticket with a Festival Feasts dining package with Madame Shanghai for $55 + $1 booking fee.
