Parramatta Park is on the western edge of the Parramatta CBD and is an easy walk from Parramatta and Westmead railway stations or the Rivercat terminal. If you are on foot, the best entry points are from O'Connell, Pitt, Macquarie and George Streets on the eastern boundary; Queens Road and Park Avenue to the west and Great Western Highway to the South.
Public Transport
The
Parramatta Shuttle Bus is a free transport solution that connects tourists, residents and commuters to the commercial, retail and recreational landmarks of the city. It runs every 10 minutes, seven days a week.
The bus operates on a continuous loop around the city centre, with three stops near Parramatta Park:
Stop 3 (Macquarie Street West near the Jessie Street Centre) – a short walk to the main Park gate, ideal for the Rumsey Rose Garden, Gatehouse Tea Rooms and Old Government House.
Stop 4 (O'Connell Street) - ideal for the Crescent event space, Old Kings Oval, Government Farm and areas on the northern riverbank.
Stop 5 (Leagues Club on O'Connell Street) - to access the park via the Buttons Bridge across the Parramatta River.
Train
Parramatta Park is a short walk from both Parramatta and Westmead train stations. Refer to

Bus
The Parramatta bus terminal is located next to the Parramatta train station in Darcy and Argyle Streets. Refer to

Driving
Ensure you only travel in the designated vehicle lane (far right of the roadway).
Always be aware of pedestrians and cyclists using the shared internal roadway.
Never park, or stop temporarily in either the cycle or pedestrian lanes on the shared roadway.
Parking
We encourage visitors to catch public transport but recognise that many people do drive to Parramatta Park. We therefore manage the limited parking within the park to benefit all visitors.
Only park in designated parking areas and marked bays. Be aware of the time limits that apply to each marked parking bay.
